Note: "The only change I would make to your recipe is to up the amount of glycerine you are using. I find that for most recipes that you need to double the amount of glycerine if you are using castille soap due to the non-sudsy nature of castile soap. You can use any mild non-scented non colored soap with the recipe that you posted and leave the glycerine amount the same. I ran into trouble like this last year and found if I just doubled the glycerine I did fine. Also, you can just add about 1/4 to 1/2 c. of unscented Dawn liquid dishwashing detergent in place of the melted castile soap and do just fine. You might need to change the amount of Dawn based on the hardness of your water. You will have to play with the proportions of the dishwashing liquid to water as I cannot recall of the top of my head exactly how much to use. Since Dawn is more concentrated, they say you only have to use 2/3 of what you would in other detergents to get the same results. Also, unscented non-colored shampoo of a gentle nature will work in making a bubble bath. I always add glycerine for its skin softening properties to my bubble baths. Good luck."
